Questions We Get a Lot
Far infrared saunas use longer wavelength panels to generate a deep, enveloping heat that warms the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air. Near infrared and red light therapy models add shorter wavelengths, typically in the 660nm and 850nm range, which target the skin's surface alongside the heat experience. The right choice depends on how you plan to use your sauna and what kind of session you prefer.
Most 1- to 2-person infrared saunas are designed to fit comfortably in a spare bedroom, basement, or dedicated wellness room with a standard ceiling height. Each product listing includes exact assembled dimensions so you can measure your space before purchasing. A standard grounded household outlet is typically all you need to power the unit.
Our infrared saunas are engineered for straightforward home assembly using interlocking wall panels and pre-wired components, with no special tools required beyond what is included. Most customers are able to complete setup in a few hours following the provided instructions. All assembly is completed by you in your own space, using the hardware and guide included with your unit.
We offer free shipping on most orders within the Continental U.S., excluding Alaska and Hawaii. If your sauna arrives and it is not the right fit, our 30-Day Return Policy has you covered — please review our Return Policy page for full details on eligibility and the return process.
About Our Infrared Saunas
Infrared saunas work differently from traditional steam saunas. Rather than heating the air around you to extreme temperatures, they use infrared heating panels to warm the body directly, creating a gentler, more breathable environment that still delivers intense, sustained heat. This makes them a practical choice for everyday home use, particularly for people who want a consistent ritual built around heat, stillness, and recovery. Home infrared saunas are available in a range of sizes, from compact single-person cabins ideal for smaller spaces to larger two-person rooms with full glass fronts and premium wood interiors. Canadian hemlock is a popular construction material for its natural durability and low resin content, which holds up well under repeated heat cycles. When choosing a home infrared sauna, consider the size of your available space, the wattage of the heating system, EMF output levels, and any additional features such as chromotherapy lighting, Bluetooth audio, or red light therapy panels. A well-chosen infrared sauna becomes more than a product — it becomes the room your day resets in.
